The Vendue and Robert Lange Studios have collaborated once again to open the art hotel’s next exhibit titled RECIPE, which opens April 19. Thirty artists from around the world have created one piece that is conceptually inspired by their favorite recipe - their grandma’s famous apple pie or their go-to cocktail - palate-to-palette inspiration, if you will.

Art Director, Emily Rigsby says, “With the upcoming opening of The Vendue’s new restaurant, Revival, the timing seemed right to focus on food. Each artist has been challenged to use their favorite recipe as a jumping off point to create a piece conceptually inspired by it.”

After thoughtful deliberation, Rigsby and Robert Lange Studios have invited an inspiring group of artists, who represent a variety of styles, mediums, and subject-matters. With a goal of curating an exhibit that furthers The Vendue’s mission of fostering adventurous, progressive, contemporary art in Charleston, the featured artists are creating work that proposes a creative twist on the theme while incorporating their signature style. “In a city that thrives on culture what could be better than creating an exhibit that combines food and art.” - Robert Lange
