As a child of Lao migrant parents, my work centres around the home and the labour within migrant family structures. My sculptures focus on objects often found in migrant households, holding deep emotional resonance, symbolising both care and grief. 'Tiparos Fish Sauce Pot' speaks to the migrant experience, where small objects in the home serve as reminders of love, care, and connection to cultural traditions often lost or distant.
