In June 2024, I attended the Hua Hin International Contemporary Artist Residency program in Thailand for 4 weeks. The dog in this picture is a Soi Dog - or street dog - that lived on Hua Hin Beach.

The Lucky Rooster (with a bag of gold in its beak) is based on the many wooden sculptures that habit the numerous Buddhist temples and shrines around Hua Hin.

I have placed the two animals together reflecting a heraldic Coat of Arms, amongst the rubbish on Hua Hin Beach.
