I have long been interested in the history of objects and how they are shown. The current move to de-colonise museums is an exciting one where artists, objects, media and makers once thought of as marginal move to the centre but this change appears to move at a slow pace encountering generational, political and cultural resistance. Ceramics increasingly high-profile reception is in its own way a part of this breakdown of hierarchies.
