This triptych is part of a series of works painted from my kitchen table on gessoed card ripped up from cornflakes packaging. These works were made in response to thinking about Clarice Beckett’s works, processes and life through a project with Orange Regional Gallery and the National Gallery of Australia. Scenes of my everyday are depicted where chairs, nanna blankets, pot plants and extension cords are all elevated in the light and dark with their shadows and reflections.
